I Arrive

What DWELL is

Inspired by nature and travel, DWELL honors the journey of feeling at home in yourself — in your body, wherever life takes you.

Through DWELL, Maya brings that spirit into shared experiences of movement, sound, and travel. Space to linger in a moment that feels good, connect with others, and welcome something unfamiliar.

Before anything else, one slow breath.

Stay as long as you like

Dwell with Maya

“Inspired by nature and my travels, I’ve learned that feeling at home in yourself is a journey of its own.”

For more than a decade, my work as a model has taken me across cities and cultures. Those experiences opened my world and allowed me to recognize what I wanted to make room for: meaningful connection, time in nature, and the freedom to be present in my own life.

III The practice

Practices to return to.

Movement and sound, guided with care — something that stays with you after you leave.

Movement

Yoga

“Yoga became a practice I could return to wherever life took me.”

Stillness

Sound bath

Restorative sound experiences — space to linger in a moment that feels good, settle into your body, and welcome something unfamiliar.

IV The place

A lost river, found.

The first retreat is taking shape

Mist lifting off green volcanic mountains above a forested hillside

The first DWELL retreat — a small-group gathering at Rio Perdido, a thermal river canyon reserve in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Rio Perdido — “lost river” — is a private canyon reserve where a mile-long thermal mineral river winds through ancient volcanic rock. Dozens of natural pools, each a different temperature, invite long, slow soaks.
